The high energy astrophysics group is part of the team that will deliver the X-ray monitor, JEM-X, for the INTEGRAL-satellite. INTEGRAL is an ESA satellite dedicated to spectroscopy and imaging of hard X-ray and gamma-ray sources. The launch of the satellite is scheduled for 2001. The group in Stockholm participates in the development of the science software for JEM-X. JEM-X is a coded mask instrument, so task of the software is to deconvolve detector images and extract lightcurves and spectra for individual sources.
