The Graduate School at Stockholm Observatory has a programme consisting of a 60 p courses (40p Basic Courses and 20p Additional Courses) and 100p PhD thesis work. The Basic Courses are given on a rolling two-year schedule and consist of six 5p compulsary courses and two exercises chosen from a menu of numerical and observational exercises. The observational exercises are under development. Some courses are taught in collaboration with, or by, the Physics Dept, Stockholm University or Uppsala Observatory.
