PhD positions at HEAC

A total of five new graduate student positions are available in the recently founded AlbaNova High Energy Astrophysics and Cosmology Centre (HEAC). More information about HEAC and the graduate school can be found here. The deadline for applications is May 16.

HEAC is a collaboration between the Department of Astronomy, the CoPS group at Fysikum, and the section of experimental particle physics at KTH. At the Department of Astronomy, the research groups for supernovae, high energy astrophysics and observational cosmology are involved in the collaboration.

The Centre is funded by a prestigeous grant from the Swedish Research Council, as part of a commitment to strong research environments. The press realease from the Research Council is available here (in Swedish). Claes Fransson from the Department of Astronomy is heading the application.

In addition to the positions at HEAC, the Department of Astronomy has announced a graduate study position as well. The deadline for applications is also May 16, and more information can be found here.
