When developing the code, it is a good idea to run some simple tests,
such as for example first testing a cartesian version (no source terms
and volume factor equal to 1) on a pressure jump. These kind of tests
are known as shock tube tests. A popular one is Sod's
shock tube test, described for instance by Stone & Norman (1992),
Sect. 5.4 (the tests in their Sects. 5.1-2 may also be useful).
